Prevent Metritis

Metritis, an inflammation of the uterus is seen after calving. It occurs most commonly after calving’s complicated by dystocia, retained fetal membranes, twins or stillbirths. Metritis can range from a mild disease with a high rate of spontaneous cures to a severe, acute disease that can be life threatening.

Metritis results in poor reproductive performance, culling, decreased production and an average cost between 304$ and 350$ per case.

Metritop helps to clean the uterus after calving and to avoid retained placenta (leading often to metritis as well). Metritop provides slow release of 8 days of trace minerals and vitamins combined with essential oils to prevent metritis.
